Have A Safe And Happy Halloween
Workplace safety is a very important to us at INCOM, but general safety is also very important. This Tuesday is Halloween and we will all be enjoying some extra candy that evening.
However, making sure you have safe Halloween for you and your children is what really matters. The following tips are a good guide to making sure all the little Ghosts and Goblins of your neighbourhood have a safe and happy Halloween.
S - Swords, knives and other costume accessories should be short, flexible and soft.
A - Avoid trick-or-treating alone.
F - Fasten reflective tape to costumes and bags to help drivers see you.
E - Examine all treats for choking hazards and tampering before eating them.
H - Hold flashlight while trick-or-treating to help you see and others see you.
A - Always test make-up in small area first and remove it before bed.
L - Look both ways before crossing the street.
L - Lower your risk of eye injury by not wearing decorative contact lenses
O - Only walk on sidewalks whenever possible.
W - Wear well-fitting masks to avoid broken vision
E - Eat only factory-wrapped treats
E - Enter homes only well-lit homes
N - Never walk near lit candles or luminaries.
