National Safety Council’s New President and CEO
Yesterday marked the first day of Lorraine Martin as the new president and CEO of the National Safety Council (NSC).
Lorraine was appointed to the role back in early May 2019 and will bring her past experience as co-founder of the non-profit Pegasus Springs to her new role.
“Lorraine has more than 30 years’ experience leading and developing successful global and international businesses,” said National Safety Council Chairman Mark Vergnano. “She has a successful track record of working in both civic and corporate roles, which makes her a natural fit for the Council – an organization that offers a suite of products, training services and advocacy resources with the mission of eliminating preventable deaths.”
Along with being the president of Pegasus Springs Foundation, Martin has been named among STEM Connector’s 100 Corporate Women Leaders, was executive vice president and deputy of Rotary and Mission Systems at Lockheed Martin and an officer in the U.S. Air Force.
We wish Lorraine Martin all the best in her new role at the National Safety Council.
